Are something like a 4 link easy to make or better bought? IS there a science to making them? Is a 2 link rugid enough for everyday use? Does stuff liek pinion angles and other stuff that might bind change with a 2 link?

I am just gonna run air shocks to rear and sliding a 302 into it so would a 2 link work with my plan well?

If you want a quick start to bagging, just pull all your leaves except the main one and throw some bags into the mix for height adjustment. the leafs will keep your axle whre it needs to be.

2 links dont work if you want side to side

IS it hard to build a Parrell 4-Link? If I build it with the leaf springs on it would all be straight and plum right? then take off leafs and put some bags on I would be good right?

IS it something I could build easy enought?

you can build it.. seen it done and done it myself.. just make sure you get some heavy shit to do it with. I used 3x4x1/4 when i did mine. I would however buy laser or cnc cut mounting tabs because those have to be the same, as well as the 4 link ends. 2 links you can't do side to side.. well you shouldn't.. and you also shouldn't do it on bag over bar 4 links (aka mechanical advantage or whatever they think they can call it.. because its actually mechanical disadvantage but w/e).

O also.. if you build it with the leaf springs on.. you should be ok.. but MEASURE MEASURE MEASURE!! things move when your welding.. and i have acatually seen an axel walk 1/4 of an inch to the drivers side even tho the leafs were on.
And if you want a quick start to bagging.. run a two link w/ a cross bar at either of the two ends.. (preferably axel side) put a big gusset on each coner.. like a triangle inbetween your crossbar and 2 link bars.. take some take your bed(in your room) off its frame and run two bars as a crossmemeber from frame rail to frame rail over top of the two link bars.. and attatch the bottom of the bags on the gussets and the tops would mount to the bed frame (from your room.. not ur truck). Just make sure you put the bed frame where it makes a I__ __I and drill out holes for the top bolts and air lines to fit.

Dude thats a freakin great idea!!! So you are saying build a 2 link, and a crossmember! Should it be a diagnial Crossmember going from one corner to the corner diagional from it? That a sturdy way to do it? what kinda ends should i use?

you can buy them from Suicide Doors.. but there is a disclaimer.. this is not permanent.. its not the best way to do it.. but can last you a while until you can get all the stuff. I would just run a parallel bar at the ends.. and then run a pan hard bar from one of the 2 link bars to the opposite side of the frame rail.

What about a 3-link? Like make a wishbone connecting to top side of the axle and then then make a link connecting on eachside on bottom side?
