well i have baged my last mazda bu i used some brakets that a local guy makes. i have gone up on the frame 1.5inches wich seems fine but i dont think the bracket was long cause the bag never sit streight and rubbed on the ball joint has any body had this problem. were is a good plase to get brackets from and how long should they be? any help would be nice.

well the kits we buy from come longer than needed and you cut them down to size. The closer to the frame rail the more lift you will get.. however you want to make sure you go high enough on the frame rail to lay out.

i made mine for $10 out of 4x4 1/4 wall. the set that was on there hit the bjs and would rub a hole through the bags about once a week

Mine would have hit the bump stops on my 83 but we cut them down and now its fine and my brackets are custom made from 2x4 1/4" thick steel i just narrows it down to like a triangle type shape an cut to holes to mount bag and enough clearance to run the line and welded a stud on top of the tubing and bolted er down will get pics soon.

has n e of yall used the chassistech aim front brakets, I've heard the suck but that was after i bought them
