Hey I have an 87 b2200 and I just bought a parts truck thats lowered with 2" blocks in the back. I was just wondering if someone could give me a step by step on how to take them off and put them on my truck. Thanks

If you look under the leafs, where the block is you will see 4 nuts. Put a jack under your leaf springs, jack them up so there is some tension, take the 4 nuts off lower the jack a little bit at a time till you can get your blocks out. do the same thing on the other truck to put them on. You might have to take the old u-bolts off and use them on the truck your putting the blocks on. Hope this helps. This is the way I did it when I didnt have a lift.

also.. unless the bed is off.. do them one side at a time.. and PLEASE use jack stands.. and don't take the leaf springs off the pirtch. I unfortunatly did that.. and was smacked in the face by a leaf spring which shot me out from under the truck as the truck fell off the jack.. fortunatly.. because if it hadn't.. i probably wouldn't be here.

Alright, so what I do is jack up the parts truck on the rear axle, put jack stands under the frame then keep jacking up the rear until there isn't tension on the leafs, then undo the 4 bolts and take out the blocks? Then I just re-tighten the 4 bolts and then lower the jack? Thanks for the help, I just don't want to make a dumb mistake and get crushed.

you are correct sir. but you might have to swap u bolts from the block kit (if they are straight) to the other truck because they might not be long enough to go over the axel past the block into the little bottom thing.. don't know the name of it. lol

haha. i would call it: "the part the the bottom of the shock attaches too, and where the nuts tighten to the ubolts at."
now that a long product name...haha
