I have a static drop in the front and I'm looking for a shock that is 3 or 4 inches shorter. Something cheap that I can throw in there until I get bags. I went to the carquest store but they couldn't cross reference anything for me. I have nitro drop shocks in there now but the ones I got are the same length as the stock and they only travel about an inch before the bottom out. Any help would be great

Anyone? I did some searching online and the best I could come up with was to use shocks for an 80's nissan hardbody but the are only an inch shorter. I guess I could always relocate the ones I have than that would solve my problem.

fullsize chevy from 73-87 front shocks are pretty short. if not thaat route then look at some street rod shocks, they come very short and some dont cost alot. sachse rod shop stocks some.

I think I am just going to relocate the ones I have. I don't have bags yet but I figured it would be cheaper to get the kit from suicide doors and relocate them than to get shorted shocks now then relocate them later. Thanks for the info anyways

ive heard that 88-89 rear shocks from a cavalier work, even the nissan hardbody one work too

they make slam shocks already, Toxic shocks make a lowered shock thats what I ran on my truck before it was bagged.
Also check out doietsh tech or slammer

I HAVE THE TOXIC SHOCKS ON MINE NOW, EVEN THOUGH I DON'T HAVE IT RUNNING YET, I CAN STILL TELL A DIFFERENCE THE OLD ONES WERE SHOT, AND THE FRONT END WOULD BOUNCE, WITH THESE IT IS STIFF, AND NO BOUNCE, I GOT MINE AT STYLIN CONCEPTS, THE WERE $39 EA, SO $64 FOR THE FRONT + SHIP, SHOULD BE LESS THAN A BILL FOR THEM TO YOUR DOOR.

Had Toxics on my static sometime back... Good shocks.
Just a tip though... Toxics are nothing more than a Monroe shock.
My guess is if you can get the part number stamped on the side of the shock it will cross reference to another model vehicle.
