i don't know if your still needing an answer to this question, but there's negatives in both flipping the leaf pack upside down, and mono-leafing.
monoleafing leads to axle wrap, which is bad, can wear out your u-joints and cause noise,
Flipping the leaf pack upside down is all bad. you get all the inconvience of a bad ride, topped with the unsafety of no spring rebound. what i'm saying is, say you go over a huge set railroad tracks, your normal springs push down, to push the axle down to the ground, to keep the tires in contact. when you flip it upside down, your springs are now pushing up, keeping your axle up close to your frame, instead of pushing toward the ground. you could spin out, die, crash your truck, or possibly it'll be fine. dont flip them
