Ok here's what i got going on, I'm gonna be running 2 compressors but i want the one to be on a 145psi shut off and the other to be on a 200 psi shut off is this possible? I heard you can just 2 compressors to a square D pressure switch, Do they both have to be on the same psi shut off? Or am i better off running a 110/145 pressure switch on the thomas, and a 145/175 on the ViAir?? Or should i run them both of the same shut off??? I need help guys im not used to two compressors!!!Thanks in advance!
run them each on the seperate pressure switches... it should be fine.
Yea i no that for the regular switch, but i heard u can run both on the square D pressure switch, If i run 2 Regular switchs would it be on to run a 110/145 on the thomas and a 145/175 on the ViAir or should they both be ran on the same psi shut off???
like post says square d;s are nice why ur trying to use 2 diff pressure switches dunno i recommend the square d highly because u can adjust ur psi easily and it would be less stress on ur compressors plus it looks cleaner and neater
my set up neat clean and simple on a regular square d adjustable 200psi switch ---->
Yea but the thing is i wanna run the thomas on a 145 shut off and the ViAir on a 200 psi shut off can i do that on one square D switch??
naw one square d will shut off both compressors
What do you guys think though ones a ViAIR 380 and ones a thomas 337, Should shut them both off at the same time? I kinda wanted to shut the thomas off at 145 and the ViAir at 175-200. But maybe both at 175 would that be to much of a strain on the Thomas?
Let me no what u guys think i need some advice!
I think it would be cool to run two seperate tanks w/ a regulator between the tanks.. so the smaller psi tank will be refilled by the higher psi tank.. that way you will have a controlled (slower) movement ride most of the time.. and then you can crank that joker open and go wild when you want too.

The ideal situation here would be to swap the Thomas for a 2nd ViAir and run them off of the same switch. It will cut down on plumbing, wiring, and headaches.
If you are dead set on using these 2 compressors together, use 2 seperate pressure switches. A square d style can control 2 or more compressors but only has 1 adjustment. In either case I would recommend using proper relays if you don't already have them.
