i found this online and was wondering if these or any other companies balljoints would give me more range of motion in my front suspension

You need drop spindles to run those balljoints, I have a pair on my truck there better then stock but not the best. All my balljoints are like brand new but the boots are ripped from so much motion from layed out to aired up..

or you need the spindles drilled for the balljoints to come in from the bottom.

any stock balljoint will work with a dropped truck even with large wheels... as long as the balljoint angles are correct. you need the balljoint at the end of its travel layed out, then you have all the travel before it tops out.

what your lookin at on that website is a spacer...not a balljoint...i thought the same thing till they got to my house a few days later and all they were was a 1 inch thick peice of steel with 4 holes in it...bummer...i thought i was getting some ball joints for 30 bucks!!!

stock balljoints will work great if you have the correct balljoint angle to start with.

theres a GM balljoint that fits the upper spindle hole. the lower balljoint hole can be drilled from the bottom of the spindle for an S-10 balljoint and therefore you gain about 3 or more inches of lower arm travel.

most drop spindles already have the balljoint coming in from the bottom anyway.

I have drilled my stock spindles to use an S-10 balljoint and will use these stock spindles with tube arms and 17" wheels.

well i want to lay out on my stock wheels and tires and then get 18's and drop spindles and i want to know what i could do (besides notching the stock a-arms and flipping the balljoints) that would get me closer to the ground. thanks

Put a spacer between the lower control arm and the balljoint with the lower arm notched the balljoint flipped and a spacer u should be able to lay up to a 17" wheel..
