Ok I have a 3/4" Spacer and ball joints flipped. The strut rods are sitting on the frame and the tie rods.... I could notch the frame but what do I do about the tie rods? It is sitting like 3/4" off the ground and its driving me nuts. Any help would be great. Thanx guys

What are u working on. The tierods and strut rods shouldn't touch anything, unless ur trying to lay 24's. lol

No just 17's with 205 40's. I dont know whats going wrong. I bought the truck like this. Ill try to snap some pics tomorrow and maybe you or someone else can give me some ideas. Thanx

hmmm, to lay a 17 u will need to notch the inside of the lower control arms and flip the lower balljoint but u said u have already done that. I have never heard of this problem on a mazda only on ibeam rangers. Snap some pics so we can wee it and get an idea.

ok I think I figured it out....... The truck is body dropped which I didnt think would make a difference but when the core support was dropped thay raised the mounts for the strut bars. By the looks of things they raised it too high. Does that make sense or am I losing my mind lol. So could I just drop the mounts or is there some kind of geometry I need to keep? Not really sure exactly what the bars are for anyway. Thanx man!

I dont no why they raise the core support for the body drop shoulda just lowere the bumper mount..

no,they should have dropped the support rods...im 1/4 off the ground up front with 3/4 spacers between ball joints, but im also running stock 26 inch tall tires...they hit my firewall not letting it go all the way down

Well from what I can tell thats whats holding it up. I guess it wouldnt hurt anything to unbolt them from the lower control arm and layt it out to make sure would it?
