I am just curious if anyone here has used and air cylinders (or would they be considered hydraulics) on there suspensions? I am thinking bags in the back is easy enough but I am wondering if there are air shocks, air cylinders, or what for the front? I mean then I could use factory Arms in the front maybe? Would it let me get real low with that kinda setup in the front?

i highly recommend NOT using cylinders in the front its been done on a truck before, its alot of time and fabrication that isnt worth doing cause if there not mounted properly they will snap, i recommend getting ur average firestone 2500 pound bag for $65

delaware dime has some 2500 bags for sale for a good price too

i dont know about that snapping part, but its not practical. You would have to do more fabrication, cylinders require more maintence, are more expensive, and they require a higher pressure to lift the front.

I looked into this also..
Don't waste your time going down this road.
They'll work, the cheap ones will break, and it does take more pressure to lift them, but even if you can get around all that... at best your only going to get about 5" of lift.

A bag will serve you much better.

bag it. cylenders are for rice burners

Ok so bags are better!! How do you put a bag in front? Like where does it go? Between control arms? Im very very confussed and a picture is worth a thousands words!

it goes in between the control arms. the round bottom bag bracket is welded to the bottom control arm, and the top bag bracket is welded to the side of the frame between the control arms.
