My truck is going under the knife in the first week of Feb and I have a few questions.

What do I need to do to lay out in the front, I have silverado 16's with 225/50's right now. Can I switch to a smaller tire and not have to cut the wheel wells out? How much would need to be cut out? Can I keep the stock spindles and control arms or will the camber be to bad? Or will it even lay out on the stock ones?

Your deff gonna have to ditch the inner fenders to lay. I am running 14s with like a 60 tire and it is rubbing like a biatch. Stock spindles are fine your just gonna have to trim the lower control arm.

IF YOU SWITCH TO A 205/40 TRIM THE ARMS AN DROP SPINDLES IT WILL LAY WITH OUT YOU CUTTING THE FRONT FENDER

Nah, man u dont need spinldes that will just be a waste of money with a 16" rim and u have to run a spacer for the tierod on a 16 or it will rub! You can like a 16" rim easily just notch the lower, Flipped the lower balljoint, if u really wanna lay hard throw a spacer in between the lower balljoint and the control arm. To make sure u get good lift set the bag in as close to the frame rail as u can without making it rub. Also make sure your bag is sitting flat as possible threw the hole range of motion!

Your deff gonna have to cut the inner fender wheels no matter what running a 16" rim. My friend was running 205/50/15 and still rubbing HARD!

I KNOW THAT MINE HAD 205/40/16 WITH FENDERS AN DRUG HARD AS HELL YES THE WHEEL HIT BUT IT STILL LAID OUT

my buddy was running a 15" with 205/50/15 and he rubbed hard, had the lower balljoint flipped,

and i had to cut quite a bit out on mine and im 1/2" from laying out i flipped the balljoints and added a spacer, i have to trim the a bit out of the inside of the control arm and im ready to go, im running a 17" wheel with 205/40/17

FUCK THAT SHIT, cut the fucking fenderwells!!!!

run a 205/40 16, it will rub but lay at the same time, fuck a dropped spindle on 16s b/c the tierod hits the rim with that setup, i dont give a fuck what anybody tells you, a mazda WILL lay 17's without a dropped spindle, you just gotta know what your doing...

make sure, make sure, MAKE GODDAMN FUCKING SURE you plate the frame b/c mazda frames are shit.....

any other questions hit me up anytime

Nah man if u put the gussets facing down, it will srengthin the frame rail itself if u put the gussets onto theres to support on the frame, and on the mazdas theres a hole in the frame right where the bag needs to go making it even weaker, I have my gussets facing down and have hopped the front of mine no problem.

the iterod is only a small problem if you want to run the z's it only takes like 3 passes per wheel to fix the rubbing
