it wont make the angle bigger..because from factory the 1st shaft is angled down

but yea, it'll save you a lot of trouble to get a 1peice

if you can't find a mazda 1 peice, get a 1peice from a toyota pickup, then take the toyota driveshaft and a mazda driveshaft to a driveshaft place and get them to put the mazda yoke on the toyota driveshaft

yeah, i believe that i would just get a one piece made, or if you find one, have it cut & balanced to fit your app. doing away with the carrier bearing will
do away with a source of vibration. i am going to get one made when i do a yota axle swap since they will have to change the yolks for the u-joints anyhow since the yotas are diff from mazda's.

FNLO, your from the STL area right. If so there is a place down towards me about 35min or so south of the city. He will make what ever you want for a drive shaft. Bring your truck and the other bed down.

But if you ask me it would look better if you just find a 4x4 reg. cab bed. Thats the only thing I don't like about my x-cab is the damn location of the rear axle.

yea i noe what you mean, but i want this bed so i can shorten it......i think theres a place called DELTA around here somewhere....if that falls thru ill grab that info from ya tho.....
