i found it to be a bit of a pain to line up too, but you just have to force the axle around abit, use some muscle,
and my opinion, i thought doing both sides at the same time was easier with my 4" blocks, aslong as you have another set of hands to help out

It helps if you have a floor jack and two jack stands. chock (block the front tires) lift it up by the rear axle high as possible within reason, then place stands at the framerail foward of axle somewhere as the frame straightens out. be SAFE. Leave the jack centered under the axle with just enough pressure to hold it (lower it till it is just holding rearend) careful cause it could fall off jack saddle. With that done the leaf springs have relaesed thier tension. Unbolt original hardware then lift the axle high enough to accomidate the blocks. Replace with new hardware, snug up evenly and carefully. And then crank down the torsion bars. It's actually a pain in the ass until you do it a few times. but it can be done both sides at once (so to speak) I hope this helps. Keep us posted .

It's normally a pain to get those notches to line up. LEt the jack down a bit to get just a lil pressure on the spring, and use a mallet, (small sledge or heavy hammer), to knock the bottom plate into position. I think my right side every time is the hardest, but I get it done. Just something we have to go through
