Guys,
I've been running with two leafs per side for the past few weeks. On the passenger side, one broke right in half. Luckily the main leaf didn't break and I didn't die.
I added in the two leaves per side that I originally removed. I now have 3 leaves per side. Do you think I'm in danger breaking more leaves?

which one broke? the main leaf or the overload?

Numbering the leaves as such...

1 - Main
2 - Helper
3 - Helper
4 - Overload

I was running #1 and #3. Number 3 broke.
I am now running #1, #2, and #4.

Most suggest running #1 and #4 in the first place. Most have had the ebst success with that combo. Why did you go with #3?

Do you have air shocks as well? Imo they help alleaviate some the extra stress on the leaves. Or atleast for me, since I use them to keep the truck up just a lil higher than if it were on the leaves themselves.

Either way, I'm really considering setting mine back up a lil. Frankly tired of tightening the butthole everytime I see or hit a bigger than norm bump I had a good ride with all the leaves in and just a 3" block.

yeah.. the reason it broke is because u don't have the overload leaf in.. unless you have a bag over axel or even air shocks to take the load of the spring.

I was going to use just the main leaf, but decided to keep #3 because it has the brackets for the emergency brake on it.

So I should be good now that I have the overload spring in?
