Hey guys,
Well yesterday I started workin on the dog, and today I finished notching the frame. Considering I've never done this before I think it came out coo. One side looks kinda shity and the other side looks great. The reason why I'm postin is cause I have a couple of q's:
1. Now that my frame is notched my tires are still not sittin in the wheel weels. I pulled all the leafs except the main and the small one. And I have a 3 in block in there. I want this thing to lay frame. I am planning on doin a 4 link but for now I have to roll with leafs and bags over the axal. So how can I make it go lower. Should I just run mono leaf?

2. As far as the front goes how much of the bag bracket should I trim and where should it be mounted to the frame? Should I weld the plate at the top of the frame rail or should I go a little lower? Any suggestions would be great.

The way I see it I should be finished baggin in a few days. But I will post pics of the truck tommorw so u guys can see how its comin.
Thanks guys

modify the lief spring perches or just get
8 weld in 4 link ends from suicide doors and get you some 2x2x1/4 in square tubing and make yourself up a 4 link

Your truck will not lay out in the rear w/ mono/overload and a 3 in block... TRUST ME. It will come close but if anything your going to lay spring pirtch. And because you have the bags you can take out the overload leaf.... it still won't lay tho.

As for the front it totally depends on WHERE u place the bag for clearance (for cutting it off)... and the placement on the frame (towards the top or bottom) totally depends on how big of a wheel you plan on running.. if u have a 215/55/14 now but u plan on getting 17's it makes a difference. So keep that in mind.. u don't want to have to go buy a bunch of stuff to make it lower because u did it on a whim for the tire size u had on there at the time. The higher you go up the frame rail for placement the bigger the tire u can fit... however less lift. Lots of things to keep in mind.. be safe and let us know how things are going!

Ok guys well now I'm attemting to bag the front, and omg its much harder then I anticapated. Cutting out the section of metal in front of the frame is a bitch. But I got one side all cut up and ground smooth. Now I'm ready to put my bag brackets in and install the bag. But I still have the other side to do.
I am actully very suprised on how time consuming baggin this truck is. Cuting out the front suspension shit was a bitch. But ill get it done by next weeked. The rear is allready notched so I just got to install the bags and brackets in the rear and install the bags and the brackets in front. Then wire the hole mess up. I'm kinda worried about all the wiring, but I'm shure ill get it done.
Pics comin soon

Cool man, thanks a lot guys for the help. I hope to be done by this weekend or sometime early next week. I pretty much figured out how to do all the wiring, but I am really trying to take my time on this truck but I have allready put about 30 hours into the suspension. Pics coming soon, thanks again
