was wondering if i can clear 5 inch blocks or just the regular 4? Just got the truck and dont have the money to bag yet so thought i would lower her

Just get 3"rs and mono leaf it, (with overload leaf as well).

I ran 5" of block with all but my overload leaf before. Road fine, just kept bangin the rearend against the frame. Does the same with the 3"rs and mono'd as well Air shocks help that though.

If you wanna lay low i suggest you go with 3" blocks and remove three leafs max.

My old truck was always banging away on the frame and everyone could it hear it so i'd drive slow when it came to the public air shocks kinda helped with the bigger bumps

You guys no if u run the stock bump stops on the axle shaved down it wont bump on the axle. It will just hit the rubber and wont sound like your beds falling off. lol=)

on mine, i have 4in block and only 2 leafs, bump stops are cut off, not completely tho, they sit even with the top of my u-bolts, so my frame kind of still hits the bump stops. i have a 5/6 drop on mine. also, you might want to check into some aftermarket shocks, the stock ones suck balls. i run djm cal-max. really good and stiff. bell-tech makes a really good shock to. when you put in the blocks, make sure you trim the u-bolt. dont be one of the idiots who dont cut them and have them all hangin down.

also, what i did for about 2 weeks, drive around and find all the pot holes, bumps or anything else that could hurt, make sure you know where they are so you can swerve and miss them, i did that and it helps, trust me. just thot ide give you a little tip
