I have access to a 302 from a mustang and I dont have enough to do bags yet, but what do I have to do to the stock suspension to make it safe for that 302 to go in. I am going to try and find a T5 tranny, dont know if that makes a diff.
thanks,
Mike

Same here, new shocks and cranked up torsion bars, rides fine. I'm considered new torsion bars from sway-a-way though.

Nothin like draggin with the weight of a v8 over the front crossmember! You can bag the front for a reasonable price man!

I am waiting to bag the truck till I can get with this truck club. They bought a 4x4 Mazda from me. The club is Negative Behavior. So if anyone here is from that club, Tod told me to stop by that house on fruitland when you guys are there, but I havnt seen any lowriders lately.

anyway, I want to make sure I bag the front right, not just the way I think it should be done.

Thankyou for the feedback,
Mike

I classify when I am talking in general about cars, trucks, vans, I say lowrider. I have a car to sell before I can go pick up a 1967 Ford Galaxie. The day I get it, I am ordering a F.B.S.S. system. I will have enough money for that one becuase of selling the car I have.

If living life on the ground is for you, then lowriding is in your heritage, dont hate it. You probably hate it when you see a car driving down the road with 20's or 22's and the ride height went up 2-3" just from putting the rims on and they dont lower it, I know I do.

I dont think "lowrider" account for everyone that has a 2" drop on their car. Lowriding is more than just lowering your vehichle. It is "drasticly" lowering your vehichle. When people dont seem to understang why you want your car or truck that low, you have became a lowrider, dont fight it, let it in your soul

sorry if I made anyone mad, I like being called a lowrider, I have no shame in the word. I think of the old days when people would chain their suspension just to make it lower, and we have the luxery of adjustable suspension.

thanks,
Mike
