Just wondering, are the 4x4 rear axles the same as our B2200's? Even if it's a B2600? IS the gearing any different?

The 4x4 axles are a bit more stout - meaning the axle tubes are bigger. Gearing is 4.44. 4x4 axles go under the leaves instead of on top, so mounting is revised accordingly. Also the shocks mount to the axle tube instead of the U-bolts.

4x2 B2600s had 3.73 gears in the manual. I think auto may have been 4.3.

And of course, all others were 3.909.

What did the stock 5 speed b2200's come with i have heard 4.11's from some people and 3.73's from some other people...

i think that manual b2200's have 3.91's or 3.93's don't think any came with 4.11's or 3.73's.

Right, All stock b2200 and b2000s came with 3.909. B2600 4x2s came 3.73 and possibly 4.10 with the auto. Hard to verify there's so few of them. But for 90% of us, it's 3.909.

what about 2wd b2200 with an automatic? i was told i had 4.10's or 4.11's. either way, i'm gonna build a 8.8 or 9" for it when i do the motor swap. was just wondering what it has now.

the auto tranny b2200's & b2000's came w/ the same rear end as the 5 spd's. a quick way to tell is to jack up the rear end put the tranny in neutral, and rotate the drive shaft one turn, the tires will turn 3.9 times with a 3.9? ratio, and 4.1 times for a 4.10 or 4.11 ratio.

The Differential flange is larger on the B2600.
You may need to graft the flange for the B2600 rear end to the driveshaft, by replacing the rear u-joint. MPV flange works too.
You could drill out the flanges to match, but the size difference makes drilling a bit unsafe, and the centerbore of the flanges may be different too, can't remember, but I did the swap with mine
