Anyone tell me if it is easy to convert a manual steering truck to power steering?

Also what parts would I need to do this? boes it have a power steering rack or something?

its pretty easy to convert it. Let me see if I can remember all the parts. Power steering pump, a serpintine belt, powersteering box. I think that about does it. If i forgot anything maybe some other can add to the list.

My power steerin pump uses a vbelt. So does every other PS pump Ive seen on Mazdas.

yea mine to and i think i read somewere that all the steering boxs were setup for PS theones with out it just had the holes pluged

pont is wrong, the manual gear box does not have the holes for power steering lines. 2 totally diff boxes.

i know when i converted mine to power steering i had to change pitman arm as well. i took the power steering from a 92 and put it in a 88. i think the ones from 86-90 are different from the ones from a 91-93.

thats wierd, my 87 sure as shit had plugs for the lines....i had everything to do the swap except the lines....
