to lay on 17's or 16's do you have to cut into the bed, my last truck i bagged was a 02 fsc and you could lay out on those woth 20's with out notching into the bed, i know the ifcustom builds most of thier own notches have anyone ever built thier own and how did it turn out???

sorry its prolly been asked a bunch.....

also bash at the beach in myrtle beach sc yr 99' 00' does any one remember the s10 that had the 2 link rear that the front tires came off the ground and he had bumper supports touching the ground and he had mounted the hydraulic cylinder horizontal not on top of the axle. i was wondering not if it could be done but how would it ride with an air shock on swivel like that.......do you follow??sorry??

when you get into ratios for lift it all depends on the ratio itself. A lifting point closer to its piviot will get less lift but ride better. As for not having to cut the rear wheel tubs yes it can be done.. i don't have my wheel tubs cut, however you will have to cut for the notch, brackets, gas tank, and pumpkin.

also depending on how much u drag, possible the top of the fenders in ur bed.

or if you like riding down the road hitting side to side

You can lift the gas tank in stock location without cutting a hole in the bed, but you will need to trim the bed support alot.
Like mullet said you will need to cut out for the notches, and pumpkin.
I had 195/60/14s on mazda. It laided hard in the rear, and it would rub. So if you wanna keep the stock fenders you will need something smaller than that.
