torsion bag brackets????

if you have the cash buy the brackets, they are just nicer.....they come extra long b/c they are "universal" all you gotta do is trim them down and weld em up...as for notching, it would be wise to notch into the frame like balcar said, and then replate it with 3/16". Even if you dont run the 2600lb bag, bag clearance is VERY important....

but if you dont notch into the frame, MAKE SURE YOU PLATE THE FRAME WITH 3/16" FIRST!!!!

does anyone have pics of there front bag mounts? I think i should have angled mine upwards going out from the frame, cuz at the edge outer most from the frame, my bag is bottoming out there. Is there an easy fix for this, or should I cut them off and redo them?

^ mine is angled upwards and the bag is just bottoming out in general. i set the front up on the 14s and my 16s are about half an inch taller. so my truck doesn't lay in the front, bout .5inch from laying.

gonna redo them when summer semester is over. all u really gotta do blitch is buy some uppers. Ima get em from Mike when the time comes. If you look on his site he sells just the upper mounts for 10bucks each.

i got a buddy that is just opening up a shop, just before i got rid of my mazda he made a set of mazda specific brakets for me, i halfway put the in...(put the backing plate on) then i got rid of my truck, he has made many of these brackets before and they work awesome... i think he wants around 150cdn+shipping for them... ill try and get pics of mine for ya....
