I'M STAYING STATIC DROPPED TOO, IT'S JUST TOO HARD TO ADJUST A BAGGED SUSPENSION THE WAY I WANT IT TO HANDLE...ALTHOUGH I DO LIKE THE IDEA OF BEING ABLE TO RAISE UP ABOVE ANY OBSTACLES IN THE WAY!
IT IS ALL GOOD BOUT THE TRAC BARS, I THINK SOMEONE MAKES SOME THAT MOUNT ABOVE THE LEAF, BETWEEN IT & THE FRAME, WHICH WOULD DO AWAY WITH GETTING SNAGGED ON SOMETHING.
THE ENGINE BUILD I DID ON MY MR.GASKET DYNO2000 SHOWED 186-190HP & 160-165 FT. LBS TQ. @ 5700 RPM...THAT IS IFFY AT BEST OF WHERE IT PEAKS BECAUSE I ONLY HAD THE DURATION (260 DEG.) & LIFT SPECS (.420 LIFT) OF THE CAM, NOTHING EXACT ON ANY VALVE OVERLAP, DEGREEING IT, ETC....THAT IS WHAT SORTA RUBBED ME RAW ABOUT PAYING $340 FOR A CAM FROM FASTFREDDY'S, IT DIDN'T COME WITH SPECS OR AN INSTALL SHEET...LIKE THEY ARE TRYING TO KEEP A SECRET ON ALL THAT....OF COURSE ANY GOOD ENGINE BUILDER WOULD KNOW HOW TO INSTALL IT ETC. ETC. BUT ANY OTHER COMPANY COMP CAM, EDELBROCK, OR WHO EVER & YOU'D GET INSTRUCTIONS.
AS FAR AS GETTING THE LINK STIFF ENOUGH I'M HOPING I WON'T HAVE TO PUT ONE THERE, PART OF PUTTING THE FUEL CELL WHERE THE SPARE TIRE X-MEMBER IS, WAS WEIGHT DISTRIBUTION, WHICH SHOULD HELP WITH THE WHEEL HOP ISSUE ALONE, IF NOT THE ADJUSTABLE LINK WILL BE LIKE A TURNBUCKLE & MAKE SOME TABS TO MOUNT IT TO THE SAME X-MEMBER THAT THE TOP OF THE SHOCKS ARE GOING TO BE MOUNTED TO & TO THE AXLE. IF IT COMES TOO IT I'LL DRAW ONE UP & SEND IT TO THE TORNADO FOR HIM TO PUT IN THE TECH SECTION AS WELL.
