The brackets can be different lengths just set the back in as straight as possible tack the brackets, compress the bag with a jack to make sure it wont rub on anything, frame, lower balljoint, bag mounts, then jack the truck up as if the bag was aired up make sure the upper balljoint is no where close to the bag, also the closer to the pivot point u put the bag the more lift you will get, Just becarefull when some bags compress they expand. It's not to hard once u start into it u will get the idea just make sure the bag doesn't run and is pretty straight...
