Whats a good Basic drop?
would it be just block the rear end and cut the springs?

You don't have to cut any springs up front, they're torsion bar trucks. Just loosen the torsion bars a bit. For the back yea, just a lowering block, and maybe pull a leaf spring or two.

i've never heard of that before will that affect anything in a bad way? and how do you remove the springs?

just give you some negative chamber up front, and thats about it. and removing the leafs, just undo the leaf pack, but be careful

jack it up. take you wheels off, as well as your whole u-bolts and the shackle the bottom of the shock bolts to.
the leafs will be free now. you need to get the clamp off the pack, i just cut mine with a cut off wheel.

a decent daily driver I have is using a belltech mono leaf set up with drop shocks in the rear, its inexpensive, strong safe easy to install,
and in the front I just match the ride hieght using the torsions for lowering, and drop shocks again, this will not be too rough, my main daily wheels are a 2005 honda element, don't laugh,I live the arctic I need AWD in the winter
