QUESTION...
I pie cut my arms today, but did not cut them all the way accross. I thought I had read where someone just notched theirs like this, bent the arm, then welded it back... Has anyone done this?
If so... How in the heck did you bend the arm?! That crap is strong.
I'd like to keep from cutting the arm all the way across if possible. Help a brotha out.

I have a friend for manuipulating metal his name is 5 pound sledge,
That is if torch is not available.
LOL
But really, to put a bend in it after you pie cut get a cheater bar to bend them assuming you have them out of the truck I would also be sure to measure to get the angle the same, be sure to reinforce the arm so it is at least as good as stock.

Been there, done that..
Still no bend.
I'm gonna take them to a local race shop tomorrow and see if the have a break that can bend them.

I would have thought the sledge could have moved them... but those arms just laughed.

you just need to cut them further across if they aren't bending.

i agree, they will move, keep cutting thats what the speed shop will say too.

that's what I have had to do..

Tig'n it up now..

And why are we doing this to the "upper" arms?

And before you cut them draw lines down both sides, horizontally and thru where the cut will be...that way you can accurately measure the angles of the arms.
