Well, I like to learn things and be able to do it myself instead. And today, I'm here to ask how to determine what size rim will fit and what won't.
What are the aspects of the rims size do I need to know? Offset, size, clearance, etc.
And how do I determine whether or not a certain size rim will not affect the suspension and steering and whatnow?
or 'am I just better off going down to a tire shop and have them figure out what fits? I would like to get 20's. But I dunno what needs to be done to fit.
My dad thinks that if I get bigger rims than what the truck came with stock, my speed is going to be affected? As in it says I'm doing 30 but really doing 35... I have never heard of something like this, but it's better to ask!
Something about the relation of the gear ratios between the speedometer cable and the gear for the wheels... I dunno, does'nt make sense to me!
