cuttin off shock mount bubble for bagging???

where the uper control arm is mounted its a hollow peice. should i mount my brackets to that hollow peice or cut it out and mount it to the frame. i dont want to loose structure on the upper control arm/

i cut it off so that the frame is exposed. im going to use some 1/4 inch plate to make sure i didnt loose any strenght to the upper control arm mount.

I cut the hump off the frame 4mm from the actual rail.

Then I plated the frame with 4mm plate over the stock hole in the frame. Then put my brackets over that.

4mm Is close to your 1/4 inch I think.
