your better off trying to run a 3 link if your keping the gas tank in the stock location..

Yup, it'd be alot easier to put a wishbone 3 link in with the stock tank.

what about a parallel 4 link with panhard bar - that set up should work.

I don't think that would work on a Mazda. We usually run the lower bars under the frame, and that wouldn't fit there. I don't think there's room to run that outside the frame, between the frame and wheel. And if he ran it inside the frame the gas tank would be in the way, which is his problem to begin with, heh.

good point.

Just break down and get a fuel cell! Its a cleaner look and a Forward 4-link will get you a ton of lift if done right!

triangulated 4, all forward and section the gas tank so the bar won't hit it....

Then again, why not get a Fuel Cell and you wont have to worry about the sectioning gas tank...

Note: I picked up a 15Gal Aluminum Fuel Cell with the Sending Unit and Foam for $185 shipped from Summit!

It was way worth it!

but sectioning the stock tank and getting it resealed is around 40 - 60 bucks. it already bolts right in and it has all the right senders and fittings.....

Just giving another option( if it was me I would get a rock valley stainless fuel cell )
