I plan to bag in the future. I am static now about 3-4" in the front. Stock sized monroes are bottomed out almost...1" prob from it.

1. If baggged do you run shorter shocks?
2. Can I go ahead and relocate the shocks and run the stockers?

in order to know which shocks you need, you will have to measure the full range of motion of the suspension. as far as relocating the shocks until your ready to bags, yeah i don't see any prob with it as long as where you relocate them too isn't in the way when you go to bag it.

If you need new shocks O'Rielys has a deal going on for (up to) $60 off monroes when you buy 4.

nah I got good ones...almost new...Monroes on the front now, just I only have about 1" of downward movement in them before they bottom out lol. Makes for a not so smooth ride at times.

If they don't bottom out too much and get damaged while you're static, they will be good for bags because you will have much more travel. I will be checking out the deal tho because my shocks could be a lot better.

That's why I'm checking on getting them relocated now.

It doesnt matter. You can make anything fit as long as it isnt 3 feet long compressed.

I would wait till you bag your truck so that way you dont have to worry about rubbing issues later.

which shocks are you guys running????, glad i found this i finally decided to bag my truck and broke down to day and ordered my front brackets...

I can see why you would want to relocate now... but I would wait until you bag so that you do not have to relocate you relocation in the event you change set ups from what you have in mind. This will also allow you to place the shock in the most optimal location for the suspension and steering travel.

I just know it's going to be a while before I get it bagged lol, so I need to do something for a better ride now.
