I was reading an article on on edc's, they reccomend a stainless braided leader hose 4 foot long, from the compressor to the filter due to the high temps of the air coming from the compressor. I was wondering if anyone's setup is like this, cause I'm running 1/2 blue Gates hose(300lb burst) from my edc to the tanks (of course with a checkvalve and filter in between) will I end up having a blowout?

yes probably find out what the temp rating is on that hose. I am using hydraulic line on mine. No problems

i run the factory a/c hose. acidentally took it to 500 before the hydralic fitting blew up.

i used a metal hose used for washing machines. metal all the way around, got a few fittings, works good. Although i did burn through one that accidentally touched my header
