ok as usual some things have come up and i don'tthink that i will be able to afford to bag the whole truck. so i am going to try do the rear. i am not able to buy all of the stuff i want but i will be able to buy most of it. i am going to get the viair 380, 2 slam re-8's, 1/2" lines and valves, super pivot rod ends, building the wishbone, 2 check valves, pressure switch, water/oil seperator, 5 gal 4 port tank. what i need to know is this. i just want to be able to drag and lay the rear out when i park it. can i use just 2 valves or do i need 4? later when i get more money i will get a bigger tank, comp., and everything else i need, and it will be hitting all sides. but to get me by for now and to get the itch scratched a little i need to know this. i am trying to spend as little as possible but i am not buying any cheap junk. this tank and comp. will later be used for the air horns. please help.

excuse my ignorance on this subject maz, but i think that you would only need 4 valves if the bags have dual ports......but like i said i'm a D.A. when it comes to bags, so we'll both get to see what the knowledgable gurus have to say......

oh man, good call. now i really don't know. haha. i just thought of something though. suicide doors sells their kits with salm re bags (which are single port bags) with 8 valves. i am looking at it now. from what i understand you have one fill and one dump for each corner so that you can hit each corner seperate. and so you can do fbss. i guess what i need to know is will 2 valves be to slow for 2 bags? 1 fill and 1 dump. this is fairly new to me so i really don't know. i am trying to remember but i think my boy projekt94 has only 1 fill and 1 dump for the rear, he only does front to back. i would call him if the jerk would get his phone fixed. haha.

sounds logical to me....i'd say if you run one dump & one fill with 1/2" lines it would be fairly quick, but as for getting projekt's phone fixed, you could try smoke signals..haha!

lmao. tried it. haha.

he is supossed to be moving back up to our home town within the next couple of weeks, and as soon as i get my truck bagged there will be 4 of us with bagged trucks. a good friend of ours is going to build a 65 chevy on bags. he is the guy that helped us both shave everything and prime our trucks. he owns a bodyshop down there and is damn good at what he does. i can't wait! gonna have to make some videos.

just found this on bagginit.com so it kind of answers my question.

if your short on money id recomend ditching the super pivot.run 2 valves in the rear. If they are dual port then plug one port on each bag.

if you really want to hit the sides then get the super pivots. You can always upgrade to 4 valves in the rear when youget some more dough.
Id really recommend s10forum.com classifieds. I bought airlift extremes for 80 bucks, 8 valves for 150, and my 4link from sd.com ebay store for 250. and 2 slam 300psi bags for 100. the only parts that were used were the valves. bagged my truck all around for less and 1000.

oh yea, i used my stock a/c compressor and it fills way faster than any electric. Cost me about 160 to get the lines made, fittings, oiler, and separater.
You can do it cheaper but i only use parker stuff

i went on bagginit & found that, but by the time i got back, you'd done posted the diagram...great minds think alike haha!

i have seen some bags on suicide doors site, i think contitech's that have 3/4" ports & are 4 ply......3/4" line would flow some serious cfm for quick up's & downs.....i think i would do like sketch said & get dual port bags & plug one port till you get the $$ for the front & extra valves..
