I am getting ready to start progress on the front of my truck, and I am wondering what Front Brackets to buy that will work WITHOUT my torsion bars in? I loosened them all the way down and eventually took them out, good or bad idea??

I was going to go with Gravity Werx Front Torsion Style Brackets, but now you see my question....I am not using my torsions anymore!

Any help would be much appreciated...Thanks in advance!

ok,
Well what you need is torsion bag brackets. that dosent mean that you need torsions, it mean that the brackets are made for torsion suspended trucks. When you bag the front yes you want to take the torsions out. with them in even if they were cranked all the way down, they would still be to firm and not let you go low enough.
and also uunderstand that torsion bag bracket kits are universal, so this means that you are going to have to trim these brackets down to the size you need them. make shure that you have the tools you need to get the job done, cause cutting through that thick metal isent the easyest thing.

as far as riding your truck without the torsions in, im sure it is a pretty bumpy ride. all that is going to do is blow ouw your shocks quickley if there not allready blown.

i used the gravity werx brackets on my truck and they work great. but if i remember i had to cut them down in length about 2 1/2 or 3 in.

hope this helps.
good luck
