ok, i know this is done all the time on hotrods to make them lower, but has anyone ever seen it done on a mini?

when i get my nect mazda i am looking to lower it 6", so i was thinking about going with 3" control arms up front and 3" leafs out back and bodydropping it 3" to get the full 6"....

makes sense to me, plus if i ever decided to bag it, it would lay rocker...

i think that would be way more work than its worth, the only way i see that being a good idea is if you have plans to bag it in the future. but that may be just me

I just body dropped my mitsu and it isnt bagged....... yet. I had a lot of spare time with my truck since I needed to get a tranny for it so i figured why not. my truck will be bagged in a month or two though

i think it would be worth it simply for the fact that it would ride like it was dropped 3" and not 6" which would ride like crap...

it would actually ride like stock up front, and as good, if not better, than stock out back....

i had thought about this myself, for that same reason, only prob is see is that the suspension will still have a good amount of travel, but you'll be limited to where you can go with the body because of how high it is off the ground & no adjustability.

it would actually be 3" higher under the frame than it would be with just a 6" static drop...

i dont plan to take a slammed mini offroading anyways
