Anyone got any experience softening the suspension?

Mine is stock, but I think it is quite stiff, and makes a rough ride.

I'm not interested in lowering/raising the truck, just getting a softer, more comfy, ride.

Cheers

Easiest thing is probably just bigger tires. Then take a leaf or two out of the back.

buy some better shocks.....

^^^ air shocks are the smoothest.

Try changing out your stock bump stops for some thin polyurethane ones. It will at least increase your susp travel.

My suspension is so stiff that it is no where near hitting the bump stops..

Maybe new shocks will do the trick?

As somebody posted above if it is smooth u want try some air shocks in back, take a leaf out of ur rear springs and put something like Tokico R/T shocks up front.I have the Tokicos all the way around on my truck and it is a very smooth ride but firm as well.BJ

Ok thx, I'll try that.

What leaf do you take out (top, bottom, middle), or doesn't it matter?
