I was wondering if anyone has flipped the ball joints in the earlier trucks 82-85. I think 85 was the last year of my body style back to the question. I was looking around and can't find any info on doing this so is it possible. Better yet is it simple enough is possible? Thanks in advance

EDIT: My truck has coils not torsion bars

Not sure on your model, but the basic principale is the same wether it has coils or torsion bars. Question is, is the ball joint pressed in or bolted/riveted?

there was no 85 mazda lol, not trying to be an ass.

Are you just wanting to lower it or bag it ?

I'm wanting to lower it for now until the snow go's away then I'm gonna bag it

well i did it on mine, not sure if its the same as flipping on the 86 and up, but since the ball joint is on the bottom of the control arm stock, i just bolted it on the top instead
