Hey everyone. I think im gonna test fit my denalis tommorow or something. i need to switch the tires over to my 205 45 17s, and drill the centers out. anyone know how much needs to be drilled?

should i take it to a machinist or DIY with a dremel or something?

I have the same wheels, but I havnt bored mine yet. I have put them up to the hubs and they need quite a bit more than your going to get off with a dremel unless you want to spend an entire day doing one wheel. Your best bet is a machine shop somewhere or cut the tabs off of your hubs.

take em to a machinest....would you cut your own appendix out?.. no on a serious note you want them puppies balanced propperly let a pro handle it.

could they machine the centers with my tires on??

600 thousanths is what needs to be removed

Technically, you can machine them with the tires on. But most shops don't want the liability just incase the tooling somehow snags on the tire and cuts it. So mostlikely you're going to have to dismount the tires.

on the reciept i got from the machinist who did my wheels he put on there bore to 4.291 or 109mm for the measurement. dont know if that will help you at all but thats all i have

Just take a stock wheel and have him measure the ID of the stock bore....and you Should have the tires off...
