ok, i need some answers here. my truck is sitting outside in the snow, valves are in the bed covered. i dont drive the truck right now so it doesnt go anywhere unless its a nice clear day out. my question is, will the valves suffer any kind of damage being covered in snow? by that i mean will the condensation inside the valves freeze and mess up my diaphram? dont hit the switches on it when its like this so is it ok? by the way the valves are 1/2 inch blitzlufts if that makes any difference.

YOu dont want any condensation in your valve bodies at all, so if they are in your bed covered in snow, I would immediately go dig them up and make a quick cover for them to reduce the condensation and the chance of them freezing!

I had a buddy that left his truck in the snow and his valves froze up! WE eventually got 6 out of the 8 to work but it still cost him 2 valves!

Just cover your bed up with a tarp or something!

Good luck!

put some airbrake antifreeze in the air tank. they use the stuff on semi trucks

You are going to have some problems with condensation and freezing even if they are covered. If they are sitting outside in the cold weather all the time put some airbrake antifreeze in them like Burnoutboy suggested. I would still cover them to keep the snow off of them, but its not going to make a difference with them freezing.
