Hey everyone. Ive got a 86 Mazda B2000.

I got it in August of 06, bone stock, and have been doing stuff to it since.
Right now its got:
-A 3" Belltech Block
~2" Cranked Torsions
-GM Yukon Denali's Wrapped in 205 40 17s.
-No Rear Bumpstops

Other Than this, Its stock suspension. Needs to go down more, fair bit of fender gap now.

I want to be about 3" or so lower this summer. What would be the best way of lowering it with what I've already got?...I know i'll be putting my monoleaf in, but how about the front?

BJs...whats the advantage of flipping them?
Control Arm or Spindle? Which?? And why??

Any advice would be sweetness. thanks a mill.

flipping your ball joints will only give you about an inch of drop. You could do that with spindles and achieve your 3 in drop. I wouldn't go control arm route, cause the only drop control arms have to be tossed in the trash if you decide to bag, but you can still use your drop spindles. The only catch of the drop spindles is you need to have a 16in or bigger wheel.

i thought getting the lowered control arms were better to bag? i haven't bagged mine yet but i saw in another post on here somewhere that it is better to get the 3" lowered control arms than to flip the bj's.??

You haven't taken any leafs out yet?

I run 3" Belltech blocks with 2 leafs removed per side, leaving just the main leaf and the small overload leaf. I also trimmed my bumpstops on the back, and run Toxic drop shocks all the way around. I got about 6" of drop out of the back of my truck. My stock wheels are nearly flush with the fender lip.

For the front,I cranked the torsions and flipped my ball joints, and I can only get 1 finger between my tire and fender lip. Keep in mind I run stock 205/75/14 tires.

All in all,I got quite a significant drop out of that, and you see the significance of the drop when you compare before and after pictures.

Get yourself some drop shocks. Mine were $77 each (ouch!),flip your balljoints (much cheaper than buying spindles, since I know you're on a budget) and you should like how it sits. You'll gain a noticeable amount of drop from that stuff.

However, imo, your truck sits pretty nice as it is,but I agree,it's never low enough.
