what do you do as far as mounting the driveshaft? use the differential from the mazda axle? or does the yota axle bolt right up?

another question, im getting my axle off of an 85ish yota, is that the short one?

here's a link to a post of mine with some helpful info on yota axles

you will probably have to adapt our driveshaft to fit the yota rear, the diff's aren't interchangable....a driveshaft shop should be able to fix you right up....

good info on the link, what about the front yota axle width? same? thought about doing a SAC on mine one day but just thinking nothing serious.

"straight axle conversion" for the front......

ohh, i didnt think toyota's came with a solid axle in the front? jeep front axles would be best to use, they have the same bolt pattern and link tabs if you are going to run coils.

the earlier yotas came with solid fronts, i think pre-85's, not sure on the width, you could check on the ttora forum, i'm sure you'll be able to find it there.....as for the sac swap, that would probably be the most practical as there isn't any bolt on stuff for the maz 4x4 front to lift it with........
