hey, i found out my b2600 has air shocks on it tonight so i went n pulled them off... got to lookin and readin more and see that they will lift/lower 6-8" and push out about 150 psi, and are able to lift 1200 pounds...

Questions

1. Can you bore this out to 1/2" from the 1/8" compression fitting?

2. if i ran these with the mono leaf and block, i would need a c notch, right?

3. would i be able to run electric valves to these if i bored them out, without any danger?

Let me know!

i wouldn't trust sliding a line over and clamping it.

you can't bore them out to 1/2, but you can bore them out a bit.

you can use electric valves, huge line and high psi, but air shocks aren't ment to move that quik and eventually you will bust the seal at full extension.

the line that they come stock with is soooooo tiny.....and its that way for a reason i think. we got an adapter from 1/8-1/4 then a fitting to connect 3/8 line and we ran a ball valve.

Back in the day, i used to run 1/4" line to them using a gas compression fitting. This was for the gabrial air shocks. I took the shocks up to home depot and found that the port was similar enough thread pitch to work fine. This is my secret of the day, i used to sell them for 3-4 times the price to people I didn't like. crap that was like 10 years ago, i feel old now (
