what so bad about reverse 4 link, my fren has a reverse 4 link and sfbd and has had no probs.and he said u dnt have to relocate the gas tank.
so why is fwd 4 link better? what the plus and minus of both

controls the rear end better, stops axel wrap under braking. I feel safer, relocating the gas tank for draging anyway.I personaly have a 50/50 4 link, its never givin me any problems, but under hard braking I can kind of feel the rear try to roll forward..The reverse will work just isnt the best way to go... But I realy dont know much about much..lol

If you're really up for some reading, take a poke at my paper that I wrote:

i have a 50/50 with the gas tank raised 3 inches but in the stock location. i like it but i am going to relocate the tank and do a wishbone setup with bags on the bars. i hear that when you do a full reverse that it is easy to break the bar mounting brackets thus creating major problems.

the problem with a 50 50 or a full reverse is the direction of acting forces under braking, acceleration and turning. The proper way is to do it fully forward.

Thats why I said that my 50/50 works,BUT I can still feel the rear trying to roll during hard braking.Forward = right way

I have a 50 50 right now, and I hate it...I an do killer burnout,s but that only means I am not getting traction....I am redoing it with a parallel 4 witha a watts to locate the axle.
