Im new to the whole mini truck thing, can someone describe the static drop to me. I have three inch blocks, mono leaf, and no torsion bars. Is that any thing like the static drop?

that would be one its a drop that isnt ajustable

yes, what you have is a static drop. Or when you hear someone refer to a truck as "lowered" it usually means it is static dropped, whereas someone will say their truck is bagged or juiced(hydros) if they've got adjustable suspension.

How's your truck ride with no torsion bars??

dude a static drop with no torsion bars is rough i went with the DJM 3" lowering control arms, reindexed my torsions and chopped the bump stop off and the ride is not bad. i run the stock mono leaf in the back with a three inch block as well. i am putting on a suicide doors generic 2.5 inch notch to get some travel though and the truck will ride a lot better. just some thoughts for ya.

wait no torsion bars how does that work

it was already done when i got the truck, it rides like hell, but i love it.

yeah the whole no torsions is very ruff
thats whats done to mine mazdabon2nd its easy you take the adjusters out and unbolt the bars from the control arms it sits on the bump stops or in my case the bump stop brackets

That kind of seems pointless. My t-bars are cranked all the way down and my ball joints are flipped, and I run drop shocks and my front end is sitting on the bumpstops and it sucks. I'm chopping the stops off next week.

my stops are gone, I don't know if i mentioned it or not, but this was someone elses project that they screwed up on, and got rid of. I'm fixing to put the torsions back in and add another leaf in the back
