I know how some of you guys are pulling leafs and leaving the biggest and smallest but i was wondering if anyone has had a problem of them breaking. Im thinking of doing it but i always thought it wasnt a good idea

The only prob i had with it is was when I put a four inch block in there, and drove it static for a while, and it was bottomed out in the rear which sucked ass!!! But if your bagging it should be good, Mine havent broke

yea its right up there with heating your coils to alleive your fear of heights if you know what i mean..ive done both...nevver had anyproblems except for ride quality..mainly because of what skudrap said.. bottomingout....so....

If your gonna bag it but cant afford the bags just yet get a notch kit take the leifs out and puthte blocks in weld in the notch and this way when you go to bag it later on the notch is already in place

Well I think im gonna run 3 inch blocks, do you think i would still bottom out? I dont really want to put a notch in cause i still want stock bed floor so i can still put my bike in the back on the way to the skatepark or haul my pitbike somewhere. I also dont want to bag it cause i dont exactly have the money or welding skills.

you wont' bottom out right away but a few weeks of driving around it will start getting lower. I drove around like that for awhile (3inch blocks) wasn't that bad ride quality just banged a little. No probs though

I broke one, but that was because I pulled the overload spring. Leave that in and you should be safe.

Get you some airshocks! It will help keep you from bottoming out. With 3" blocks, and pulled leaves, you will need to remove or heavily shave down your bump stops as well.

Make sure you get ANGLEd blocks too

You can airshocks for our trucks at any parts store. They will really be handy when hauling your bike, cuz on only one leaf you don't have much "support" for hauling stuff.

How much do air shocks really run? maybe a link or something...

Gave about $70 for them new at Advance Auto Parts (partsamerica.com)
