Do you have to have your front fenders cut out to run a 17x7 rim on our trucks? I was just wondering if the extra width would cause any problems. Im static dropped with no torsions.

you will have to cut out the inner fenders for ANY 17" wheel, assuming you are bagged.

Nope not bagged yet just static dropped 3" blocks in the rear with six degree angle shims and no torsions in the front.

I still need my bed to haul stuff. Don't have another truck right now.

6* shims? whats your pinion angle at?

When the truck is on the ground its close to zero. the diff is just a little lower. Im mono leafed in the rear too forgot that but my question is about the wheels and fenders I plan on bagging it in the future but I want to do a 302 swap with a ford 9 inch rear then bag it. Right now I have the stock 14 inch white rims and I want some chrome!!

what size tire are you running now??? its hard to say if you will clear the fender at all just static dropped if the camber is correct you will definately hit the fender, much less the inner fender. it takes alot of camber to clear the fender lip with GM wheels, and the rear you WILL have to flare the bedsides for sure.
