have any of you made your own two link If you have pix thay would help got the fire lit under me to bag the truck going for what I can do quick yes i know quick isnt best or safest but I"m getting sad looki at my bag stuff colecting dust so what i realy need is measurements on how long the link bars are

I haven't ever done a 2 link on any truck as i find that with any link system that needs a pan hard bar that the only time the rear end is centre is at ride height. 4 links keep your rear end centered at any height and the only small problem you might have is pinion angle depending on how long your bars are. Also if you are planning on laying frame you don't want to mount to your front perch as they sit lower than your frame.

stop thinking about a 2link. they are not worth the time, or effort. don't be sad because your not rollin with bags yet, be happy you don't have a 2link! better stock than crappy. just use your sadness as determination to save a bit and buy a nice 4link kit.

If he wonts to do a 2 link then let him. If you cant help him with it then don't post. Lots of peeps run 2 links and are happy with them. Just cause it not what YOU wont does not mean its crappy or wrong. Just a different way of doing it.

easssssssssssssy killer.

speedster is right, you might as well do a 4 link while you got the time and the bed off the truck when it comes to doing the actual work.

If you do plan on bagging your truck and just want a simple, front back setup then your good to go but if you wanna hit side to sides and such I wouldnt recommend it.

Im not too woried about hitting sides just front back would be fine for me think Im going to do 6 vavles that way it wont sway when i turn

Even for daily driving it licks big monkey balls...the rear will not articulate around corners and it will be succeptible to breaking loose under hard cornering loads....Do a 4 for maybe half a days extra work and less than 100 bucks more....why wouldn't you.

how about a air over leaf yeah the leafs arnt that strong but they seam to hold up for te most part the way it sits now there arched the other way I heard that the air over leaf rides like a big spring though just some thought see what i get back from taxes might go for a 4 link kit from sd ????? not sure depends oh and my truck breaks loose on dry pavment in a hard corner now so i wouldnt have to drive ne deferent from what i do now sometimes i do it on purpose kinda drifter style
