i ran my 89 b2200 with no torsions and 3" blocks for two months 15m one way to school and 35m one way to work. thats was a hell of a ride. it was a beautiful thing to look at with chrome pathfinders and 50 series tires but it was worth the ride.

I had a buddy back in the early 90's that got stuck in a pothole at the nudie bar. he was sporting 5" blocks out back - and his wheel fell in the pothole - and got caught up on the shock mount. - boy was he embarrased.

well i know my limits as of last night...

i dropped my truck even more...

the torsion bars drug on everything...

then i went to check out this custom 55-57 chevy truck at the local 7-11 and on the way out of the parking lot, i hit the frame...

HARD!

stopped and looked...

BENT THE BOLTS, SMASHED THE PASSENGER T BAR HEAD, AND DRUG IT ALL THE WAY HOME!!

AND IF THAT AIN'T HARDCORE...

I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS...

but words don't talk much...

so here is the pics...

tomorrow, i pull the bars, and then put the bumps back in...

may put bumps in in the rear also...

Do you know how to index your tors. bars? You can put it as low as you want and not scrub the bolts at all. What you do is pull the bars out then jack under the control arm till the tire stuffs like you want then put the bar in and tighten the bolt up. By the way you want the hook where the bolt goes as close to the floor as possible. I busted up reflectors with my bars like that.
