i was just wondering how high you guys welded your top bag mount to the frame, im about half way up on the frame, but ive seen guys mount them lower, and ive heard i should have mounted them higher, like almost cutting out all the control arm support. anyway i just want some opinions, i realize the higher up i go the more drop i get and so on, im running stock 14's and almost lay frame. Thanks

i cut mine right below the circle on the shock tower. look at andd you will know what im talking about.and welded brackets all the way to the frame.i get a good bit of lift

yea i cut mine about half inch away from the bottom of the hole, but everyones telling me to go higher. im wondering if i should leave it or go higher.

Mines meets the top of the frame!

But I am running 18s and layin frame!

I say take the extra time and move it up higher for the future, and then youll already have it done, and you know youre laying hard on 14s if you move it up!

Just my 2 coppers!

yea man you speak the truth, i heard that already from someone else, im going to move it up and make the plate out of 1/4 instead of 3/16, better to do it right one time. thanks bro

for the upper bag plate 3/16 is plenty as long as you run gussets. it'll be worthless without gussets, even if you run 1/4 or thicker
