i have 4" blocks in right now and cranked torsions and at first it felt great but now that my shocks are worn so its not so good. who has 4"blocks and cranked torsions in and can tell me the shock sizes or tell me how to get the sizes.

you can get the shock size by pulling out your old shock and measuring it. you can also go to a local parts store(autozone, kragen, pep boys etc) and they'll have a book with lots of shocks and should be able to help you determine what you'll need.

With blocks the rears should be stock length...the front you should buy shorter shocks, about 2 inches shorter and they will work better for your application.

couldnt i get monroes to fit wat i need. i asked the guy at werk about monroes and he said that if theyre more pricey they give u a softer ride so id prolly wreck those shocks in a week. i asked about getting stiffer ones and he said cheaper ones are stiffer, but if theyre cheaper wont they not last as long?

when i bagged the rear of my truck i went and bought the cheapest shocks i could find and i love them(i measured the aired out and aired up heights and bought a shock that had that much travel and mounted them where i wanted) they are for the front of a 60's-70's VW bug i think. that was a couple years ago, and just recently i took them off and tested them and they're still good. they are a no-name brand from an autoparts store...
