are u baggin it or just going static??

they are alright for static, but if your baggin it, you'll need something bigger. & yes i would weld it.....

i guess a static drop is no bags just c notch

ya they are great if you are only static dropping your truck and I would bolt them in and then weld patches around it so if you decide down the road to bag your truck you can ground down the patch spots and undo the bolts and remove it then put in a step notch.

your right, a static drop is just lowered... no adjustability. you can use that notch for bags or just static, but if your bagging it you'll not even be close to laying out. you'll have the stink-bug rake. personally i'd just weld it in, forget about the bolts, and use those holes as plug welds. when you weld it in sand off that coating, even inside the bolt holes, so they're bare metal. otherwise you'll have a poor weld.
don't forget to get the coating off the frame too.

thank you all but i dont think im going to use them at all i want a bigger c notch i want to lay body with out body dropping it im tall i need the leg room

Unfortunately, i got ripped off on an aim kit and got these.. i knew i would be able to lay frame but i didnt have money to get the 8"ers.. anyway you can see how low i am from my pic.. it doesnt look bad but its not laid out

you pretty much can't lay body with out body dropping it. there's no way around it. if you build a new frame you can go down some, but you'll still need to cut out parts of your cab, possibly for tranny and driveline

B22LVN what do you want for that notch? Let me know I'm interested.
