I'm running 2 Viair 480C's and they are GREAT!!!

They look small, but pack a punch!

Im bagging the rear of my truck and I am probably going with the 8 gallon 8 port tank from sd. The tank is rated at 150 psi. I was looking at two different compressors. the viair 380 or the viair 450. The 380 is rated at 200psi and the 450 at 150 psi. Im gonna be running a 110/145 pressure switch. Which one should I go with?? 145 psi is close to the max pressure on the 450 and I want my compressor to last awhile so should I go with the 380? Im stumped. Oh and im running 1/2 inch bags and air line.

If you're only going to run 145psi get the 450. It was designed to operate at that pressure and will last a long time for you. If you're not running 200psi the 380 and 480's are a waste of money because they were built to run, and operate at their most effecient at the higher pressures. They are less effecient around 110-145 then the 450 is.

do your compressor a favor and get a little buddy for him. (another compressor) they'll last longer, and fill faster. shoot, with 8 gallons you might want 3 compressors. i'm running 2 viair 450's and an air zenith on a 5 gallon tank.

I was thinking about getting a second one for when I do the front. But I guess two wouldnt hurt right now.
