my setup is re6s, flipped ball joints, notched lower control arms and cut inner fenders, i have 205-40-17 inch tires on escalade wheels. i pretty sure its my upper ball joints binding and need to be re angled, but wanted everyones input and would like to see pictures of re angled upper arms, also my front crossmember is 1 1/2 inches off the the ground

with that much work and you're still that high, i'd think about your upper bag mount being too low, or at the wrong angle. my whole front end is stock - no flipped bj's no notched anything except the lower c-arm a little around the pivot point, and my front layed out and drug crossmember on 205/60/15's(24.7" tall). your 205/40/17's are 23.5" - almost an inch smaller.
get a pic of your setup...

Uh you should be able to lay out on an 18 without reangling the control arms....something else is binding, or the bag is not installed right or something.

what else could be binding though? im pretty sure i got the bag install right i angled the upper bracket up a little and gusseted it down

an easy way to tell if your bag is bottoming out (upper mount too low) is to take the bag out and see where it sits with the bag removed. if it still binds where it does now, its not the bag mount. you might also check to see if your tie rods are hitting anything. if you do go ahead and pie cut the uppers, plate the back side of it to ensure it wont cause problems down the road.

I hate to say this...but if you can't find the whats holding the front from binding you probably should not be doing the work yourself...Oh and I have never notched a lower control arm to make a mazda lay.......
